Ione R. Stiegler to be Guest Speaker at San Juan Capistrano Docent Society Meeting

Ione R. Stiegler, FAIA and the Principal Architect for IS Architecture will be speaking at the upcoming San Juan Capistrano Docent Society meeting on Thursday, April 21. Ms. Stiegler is a leading expert in historic adobe and earthen structures. Her studio specializes in applying the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and has completed projects implementing all four approved treatments: Restoration, Preservation, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction.

Ms. Stiegler will present her firm’s work Restoring and Rehabilitating both the local Blas Aguilar and Montanez Adobes  The meeting is open to the public and is scheduled for the San Juan Capistrano Community Center from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m Please call 949.551.1914 for more details.
